First Place finish with U21 Iranian national team in the tournament held in Vietnam in September 2008.

Former Iran National Team Assistant coach
Markar Aghajanian has an impressive track record and has been part of the coaching staff for the Iranian national football team during the 2014, 2018, and 2022 FIFA World Cups. His coaching abilities and experience have earned him a well-deserved reputation as an outstanding coach.
Markar Aghajanian has a wealth of experience in soccer coaching, having been involved in the sport for several years. His role as assistant coach for the Iranian national football team during the 2014, 2018, and 2022 FIFA World Cups was crucial in helping the team achieve their goals. Aghajanian’s knowledge and expertise were instrumental in devising winning strategies and tactics for the team. His contribution was vital in helping the team progress through the various stages of the World Cup.
Apart from his role in the Iranian national football team, Aghajanian is also the Director of the Jewel City United Youth Soccer club in Glendale, California. He is responsible for coaching and mentoring young players, imparting his knowledge and skills to the next generation of soccer players. Under his guidance, the team has achieved remarkable success, winning several tournaments and accolades.
